5 Things I Don’t Sell or Offer in My Balloon Decor Business (Anymore)

Services I’ve Simplified in My Balloon Décor Business
As a balloon decorator, I’ve refined my offerings over the years to focus on what I do best: creating stunning, memorable balloon installations for my clients. While there are plenty of popular options out there, I’ve chosen to prioritize the services that bring the most value and joy to my clients—and to me as a decorator! Here are five things I’ve decided not to include in my regular lineup:
1. Balloon Mosaics
Balloon mosaics are undeniably beautiful and creative. While I enjoy making them on occasion, they’re incredibly time-consuming and costly to produce. The effort required for mosaics makes them a significant investment, and I’ve found that other décor options, like organic garlands and large-scale installations, offer just as much impact while being more practical to create. While I don’t include mosaics in my regular services, I’m always open to discussing them for special projects!
2. Marquee Light Displays
Marquee light-up numbers and letters are a trendy and eye-catching option for events, but they come with a few challenges. They’re large, take up a lot of space, and require a significant initial investment. Rather than managing these logistical hurdles, I partner with professionals who specialize in marquee rentals, so you can enjoy the beauty and impact of the lights without the hassle. I then add my touch with gorgeous balloon décor, whether it’s a balloon wall, themed installation, or other custom designs, ensuring your event is both spectacular and stress-free!
3. Jumbo Helium Balloons
Jumbo helium balloons are dramatic and fun, but they’re not always the most practical option. Between the high cost of helium, transportation challenges, and on-site handling, I’ve chosen to focus on alternatives like balloon clusters and organic designs that deliver the same “wow” factor without the added hassle.
4. Full Backdrops
While I offer select backdrop options like balloon rings and basic frames, I’ve opted not to include full pipe-and-drape backdrops or other large-scale rentals. Managing these setups involves extra storage, setup, and maintenance, which takes away from the time I could spend designing your balloon décor. Instead, I’m happy to recommend trusted vendors for backdrops while I focus on making your balloons stand out.
5. Props (Candy Carts, Frames, etc.)
Props like candy carts and photo frames are charming additions to any event, but they’re not my specialty. These items require extra storage space, careful handling, and additional setup time. I’ve decided to leave props to the experts while I stick to what I do best: crafting balloon décor that transforms your space and sets the tone for your event.
Why I Made These Choices
Every decision I’ve made about my offerings comes down to one goal: delivering the best possible experience for my clients. By focusing on what I’m passionate about, I can ensure your balloon décor is both beautiful and seamless. If you’re looking for something I don’t provide, I’ll happily refer you to trusted vendors who can help bring your vision to life.
Let’s work together to create something unforgettable for your next event!
